📌 Program Highlights
• Professional Tea Garden Tour: Gain an in-depth understanding of tea cultivation by exploring the tea garden and learning about tea trees. During the production season, visitors may also observe the traditional tea-making process (seasonal availability).
• Capturing the Scenery: Immerse yourself in the picturesque tea fields and document your journey with unique and memorable photographs.
• Tea Sensory Evaluation: Participate in a guided session on professional tea tasting and grading. Discover how teas are evaluated through their appearance, liquor color, aroma, flavor, and leaf quality.
• Half-Day Experience: Designed as a light and enriching journey of approximately 2–2.5 hours, offering meaningful cultural and educational insights without the need for extensive travel.

We have designed the “Little Tea Farmer Treasure Hunt”,
where both children and adults can discover the world of tea
through fun and engaging tasks.
This is a truly educational and entertaining experience,
perfect for families, tea lovers, and anyone who wishes to connect with nature while uncovering the wonders of tea.
• Provide traditional Hakka bamboo hats and floral arm sleeves for tea-picking group photos in the tea garden
• Each participant will receive one instant photo (Polaroid) of their tea garden group photo
Using professional tea tasting methods, we assess:
Appearance – shape and color of dry and infused leaves
Liquor – clarity and brightness of the brew
Aroma & Flavor – honeyed fragrance and layered taste
Learn how the bite of the small green leafhopper shapes the tea’s unique character, and experience the artistry behind Taiwan’s most iconic terroir tea.
At Hsu Yao-Liang Tea Garden, we follow the traditional methods passed down from our ancestors.
Producing Oriental Beauty Tea requires a 24-hour process to complete the raw tea leaves (prior to roasting).
During the harvest season, you may purchase an additional tour of the tea factory and tea-making process.
